In the whole cohort, the greatest loss of GFR was seen in patients with DSR at time point 2 ( Figure 2 a) and approximately 65% of patients with DSR at this time point appeared in the “deteriorating subgroup”; these relationships just failed to reach statistical significance.
Discussion Our results show that providing practices with access to an ICCD service led to an increase in the proportion of patients achieving targets for control as assessed by our primary outcome measure (control of HbA1c, BP and cholesterol), although this just failed to reach statistical significance.
For individuals with A1012G heterozygous status, a significantly lower odds ratio (OR: 0.046, 95% CI: 0.004–0.51, p=0.012) was observed for adolescent disease onset and sex (OR: 0.23, 95% CI: 0.047–1.14, p=0.07); a trend for females to have a higher likelihood of possessing the polymorphism being observed, although this association just failed to reach statistical significance.
Isolation-induced down-regulation of Klf2 just failed to reach statistical significance during our qRT-PCR validation of RNA-Seq data, but Krüppel-like factor 2 (KLF2) activators have anti-inflammatory effects in vascular cells ( Xu et al., 2017 ; Lei et al., 2022 ) and any demonstration of similar properties in brain tissue would still be of potential interest.
One of the most interesting and potentially clinically relevant finding from our study was that lower set‐shifting ability (percentage of perseverative errors) at baseline tended to be associated with a lower reduction in eating disorder pathology (EDE global score) until the 18‐month follow‐up, although this finding just failed to reach statistical significance, which may have been the case due to the low sample size.
Third, the task-dependent acceleration of the median latency of fixating heads at the very first fixation after scene onset just failed to reach statistical significance on a very conservatively corrected level in some post hoc analyses (i.e. the analysis of shift functions and the analysis for distinguishing task from practice effects in the electronic supplementary material, section S1 and table S1).
Quantification of the 6E10-positive deposits showed a slight increase in AM; Serf2 br −/− compared with AM, but this just failed to reach statistical significance in the Bonferroni corrected post-hoc comparison (two-way ANOVA: all 3m non-AM versus AM groups p bon < 0.0001; AM versus AM; Serf2 br −/− p bon = 0.063) ( Fig 5F , left panel).
Additionally, a recently published analysis of this study group stratified by the modified version of the Charlson Comorbidity Index (mCCI) shows a similar trend towards a worse outcome of patients with high mCCI under medical rhythm control, which just failed to reach statistical significance due to being underpowered [ 24 ].
Similar to the addition of molasses, the addition of cassava meal to Napier grass resulted in increased lactic acid contents compared with the untreated silage but the difference just failed to reach statistical significance when cassava meal instead of molasses was used.
