“did not quite reach significance”

Classical monocyte TLR2 was higher in children with DS but did not quite reach significance ( p = 0.06) (Figures 1(c) – 1(e) ).

Finally, self-reported range of healthy strategies to regulate emotions improved from M pre = 3.74, SD = 1.74 to M post = 4.56, SD = 1.53, however, this change did not quite reach significance: F (1,26) = 3.882, p = 0.06 (see Figure 1 ).

Similarly, those higher in depression tended to spend more time at home between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, although this main effect did not quite reach significance (standardized beta=.03, P =.06).

Although NOP receptor expression in tissue from ModTBI rats appeared lower than in sham rats, it did not quite reach significance with Dunn’s multiple comparisons test ( p = 0.0602) 24 h post-TBI ( Figure 3 a).

There was some evidence for an interaction of tDCS × hemisphere × hand in S1 ( F (1,40) = 4.16, p = 0.048), although this did not quite reach significance in M1: F (1,40) = 3.72, p = 0.061.

An interaction between Feed Valence and Block Type did not quite reach significance ( F (1, 27) = 3.81, p = .061, η p 2 = .124), but generally it appeared that there was a greater difference between P3b amplitudes to gains and losses when stimulus values varied (Gain: M = 0.77, SE = 0.24; Loss: M = 0.20, SE = 0.32), compared to when stimulus values output a constant reward rate (Gain: M = 0.51, SE = 0.34; Loss: M = 0.35, SE = 0.25).

The results indicate a correlation between P-LVD and TNM stage although they did not quite reach significance ( P = 0.061).

2 Probing the interaction through simple slope analyses showed that the relationship between work‐life conflict and stress did not quite reach significance at the 16th percentile of segmentation preference, β = 0.231, bootstrapped 95% CI [−0.011, 0.474], p = 0.061, but that this relationship became significant at the 50th percentile, β = 0.350, bootstrapped 95% CI [0.149, 0.550], p < 0.001, and grew more positive at the 84th percentile, β = 0.468, bootstrapped 95% CI [0.232, 0.704], p < 0.001 (see Figure 3 ).

Fluorescence in plasmids containing 8-oxoGuanine and abasic sites was higher in control than patient samples ( Figure 2C ), and in plasmids containing glycol-damaged bases, although the difference did not quite reach significance ( P = 0.062) ( Figure 2C ).

In 30-week-old mice, the dyskinesia score increased over time but did not quite reach significance (time: F 2,20 = 3.20, P = 0.062; treatment: F 1,10 = 4.72, P = 0.055; interaction: F 2,20 = 3.20, P = 0.062).

Although the correlation between alcohol intake and resulting BAC on day 11 did not quite reach significance, there was a strong statistical trend for a positive relationship ( r = 0.242, p = 0.062).

This effect did not quite reach significance for the rubber hand (mean β = -1.96%/finger), t (19) = -1.98, p = 0.0623, d = 0.46, though the difference in slope between the two conditions was not significant, t (19) = 1.41, p = 0.175, d z = 0.324.

While the difference in RSA by sex did not quite reach significance in the summary measure over 16 ROIs ( p = 0.063) ( Table 3 ), it did reach significance when only 12 ROIs (LCbCtx, Lamy, LHip, LOfac, LThlP, RCbCtx, RAmy, RHip, ROfac, RThlP, RPut, and BS) were included in the computation ( p = 0.015 ) ( Figure 3 B and Table 3 ).

However, the result did not quite reach significance, p=0.063, as shown in Table 3C (ii) .

This did not quite reach significance at 365 days (33.2% vs 35.4%, p=0.063).

More children in the 'worse' group were allergic to nuts other than the nut to which they were challenged but this difference did not quite reach significance ( p = 0.063) ( Table 1 ).

For the second comparison, the mean RM EDN1 difference between Aβ and Aβ+zib groups was 630 pg/mL/mg tissue/mL buffer (–29.2–1288) which also did not quite reach significance ( p = 0.063; Fig. 2 b).

Post hoc comparisons revealed that CD1 and TK mice had normal social memory such that they decreased their interaction times with a familiar mouse (CD1, p < 0.0001; TK, p < 0.0001) and increased their interaction times with a novel mouse (novel 2), although this did not quite reach significance for CD1 mice (CD1, p = 0.0634; TK, p = 0.0361).

The CaMKIIβ +/− mice showed an intermediate response, demonstrating reduced preference for the novel object compared to the WT littermates, although by an unpaired t-test this effect did not quite reach significance (p = 0.064; +/+ vs +/−) ( Figure 6A ).

Initial Pearson correlation patterned in the expected direction, where greater time since divorce was associated with lower intensity of divorce-related recollections, although this association did not quite reach significance ( r = −0.33, p = 0.065).

At the radius, axial stiffness increased 2.5% ( p = .02) at 12 months and 3.2% at 24 months, but the latter effect did not quite reach significance ( p = .065).

In spite of this difference, we still expected to see the same trend across samples, which was the case for type 1 MHC (gene MYH8 ) and type 2X MHC (gene MYH1 ) where protein and mRNA levels were significantly correlated (Figures 4A and 4C ; P < 0.05) while type 2A MHC (gene MYH4 ) did not quite reach significance (Figure 4B ; P = 0.065).

In participants in the lowest quartile of Se status at baseline, treatment with Se significantly lowered the concentration of sFlt-1 ( P = 0·039) and halved the ratio of sFlt-1:PlGF, though the latter effect did not quite reach significance ( P = 0·066); however, in all participants taken together, Se treatment had no effect on sFlt-1 concentration, PlGF concentration or sFlt-1:PlGF ratio.

Participants’ accuracy was significantly better ( t (14) = 2.19, p = .046) on congruent trials ( M = 97.9, SD = 1.73) than incongruent trials ( M = 93.6, SD = 6.74) after reading, although the interaction between testing session and congruency did not quite reach significance ( F (1, 14) = 3.70, p = .066).

Classical conditioning group The effect of CS Type on IBI did not quite reach significance in the classical conditioning either ( F (2, 46) = 2.87, p =.067, η p 2 =.053, BF 10 = 1.06).
