After adjustments for maternal age and the offspring’s sex and age, there was a borderline significant between-group difference in birth length ( β :-0.64, CI :-1.27; -0.01, p : 0.05), i.e., offspring of mothers in the intervention group were born 0.64 cm shorter compared to those in the usual-care group.
A multivariate analysis of total events, stratified by total patient follow‐up time post index date, demonstrated a statistically significant lower total event incidence (incidence rate ratio <1) for metformin + DPP‐4 inhibitor compared with metformin + SU for patients with ≥1 (borderline significant), 2 and 3 years follow‐up (Figure S5 in Appendix S1).
In the present analysis, virologic success rates were significantly lower at weeks 4, 12, and 24 after ART initiation in participants with TB-IRIS compared with those without TB-IRIS, and borderline significant at week 48, probably because of higher baseline HIV-RNA levels observed among those who developed TB-IRIS.
However, when the associations between prostate cancer risk and 25(OH)D were examined separately by age, a borderline significant positive association was observed for men diagnosed at less than age 60 years (odds ratio for the highest compared with the lowest quintile = 2.90, 95% confidence interval: 0.85, 9.88; P for trend = 0.046), and this association was not significant for men aged 60 years or older ( P for trend = 0.594); however, neither was the test for heterogeneity between the trends statistically significant ( P for heterogeneity = 0.160).
