This (and the observation at 144 h, mention to follow) indicated that at about 120 h there was a transition, and small variations in inoculum, growth, temperature, or time of reading between experiments could cause this transition point to lodge on one side or the other of this 120 h break point, shifting from borderline significant differences to significant differences.
Among settings, outpatient infants and inpatient caregivers showed the largest decreases in mean QoL from preonset to enrollment (preonset: 90.9 ± 3.1; T0: 73.3 ± 4.0, p = 0.0003, and preonset: 94.3 ± 3.5; T0: 70.0 ± 10.4, p = 0.085, borderline significant, respectively) (Figure 3 and Appendices S4–S5 ).
Moreover, we detected a significant positive correlation between degranulating T4+ 107a (r = 0.69), Tcm 107a (r = 0.83), and a borderline significant positive correlation between degranulating T 107a (r = 0.76), and B 107a (r = 0.83), with improved blast lysis ( Figure 7 C).
This borderline significant difference was still evident at 12 months of age (maternal iron supplementation 7.6 ± 0.8 mm (n = 11), no maternal iron supplementation 7.1 ± 0.6 mm (n = 37), adjusted p = 0.04) but had disappeared by 24 months of age (maternal iron supplementation 6.6 ± 0.6 mm (n = 9), no maternal iron supplementation 6.5 ± 0.5 mm (n = 32), adjusted p = 0.5).
