Another study from Italy [ 9 ] investigating a more specific outcome, reported a borderline significant association between O 3 exposure and out-of-hospital coronary deaths in individuals who had previous hospitalizations for ischemic heart disease ( p -value 0.059) which lends some support to our finding that suggest susceptibility to CV mortality in individuals with previous hospitalization to AMI.
Results Individuals with ED had greater annual health care costs ($1869, p = 0.012), lower but borderline significant employment rates (OR = 0.67, 95% CIs [0.41, 1.09]), and lower but not statistically significant earnings among those who were employed ($2093, p = 0.48), compared to individuals without ED.
Response to Repeated Injections Although the magnitude of response with each injection tended to diminish slightly over successive cycles and repeated-measures ANOVAs were borderline significant, the effect sizes between cycles were small (0.01–0.13; see Table 2 c) and therefore unlikely to be clinically significant.
Among patients with DUE <24 months (n=58), the IPs of the HAMD ( r =−0.38, P <0.01), DS ( r =−0.27, P =0.045), and NPSS ( r =−0.32, P =0.02) were significantly correlated with DUE; the correlations of DUE with the IPs of the SS ( r =−0.25, P =0.055) and PS ( r =−0.09, P =0.54) were borderline significant and insignificant, respectively.
When mixed linear models for the association between pain ratings and Fas expression were adjusted for the levels of ACTH, SP, and cortisol, simultaneously, the association of pain with Fas expression on B cells and cytotoxic T cells remained borderline significant ( Table 4C ); however, adjustment for 1 neuropeptide at the time did not accentuate the association between pain and Fas expression (results not shown).
Compared with participants without diabetes, those with diabetes had a borderline significant 34% (95% CI 0.96;1.87) higher risk of cognitive impairment when assessed by the GCF Z-score, and a non-significant 30% (95%CI 1.01;1.68) higher risk of impairment based on the VFT-a test after the false discovery rate correction.
A test of heterogeneity showed some evidence of a difference in relative risk associated with parity for in situ tumours compared with regional/distant tumours (P = 0.05), but no significant difference between the risks for in situ and local (P=0.36), or local and regional/distant tumours (P=0.11). Among parous women, there was a borderline significant decreasing trend in RR with increasing parity for both in situ and local tumours.
30 An issue, which is already relevant to patient groups receiving these agents in routine clinical practice, since benefit on OS with addition of bevacizumab is often borderline significant or lacking depending on the chemotherapy regimen. 31 – 33 Better understanding of these mechanisms will make it possible to identify sensitive targets and/or phenotypes to overcome these tumour escape mechanisms.
