For β-Catenin the activation scores were found to be higher (borderline significance, p = 0.06) in paediatric medulloblastoma with a CNTBB1 mutation (N = 4) versus non-mutated medulloblastomas [21] .

Regarding the endoscopic findings, SM showed a lower trend of GERD with borderline significance compared with LM (4 studies, n = 179 in the SM arm and n = 222 in the LM arm, RR 0.64, 95% CI 0.40 to 1.01, P = 0.06, Figure 7(b) ).

In the study on CVDs among the Métis Nation of Ontario, age- and sex-standardised all-cause mortality (n = 6 Métis deaths) at one year following incident AF admission or emergency presentation was 2.1 times higher among Métis than the general Ontarian population ( p = 0.06; borderline significance).

In contrast, at a concentration of 5 μg/ml, viability revealed a significant difference compared to healthy controls ( P < 0.05), while showing borderline significance ( P < 0.06) compared to the 2.5 μg/ml concentration. 2.5 μg/ml concentration showed a high percentage of viable cells, without showing a significant difference with controls.

The trend was also seen in boys, though with borderline significance (94% vs 96%, P = .060).

Of the 16 included health variables extracted from these three studies, only one was significant, with a second variable with borderline significance and likely underpowered by a small sample size ( n = 36 participants; p = 0.06).

A high CD8 + T cell signature score was associated with significantly improved OS (P = 0.06, borderline significance) and a strong trend toward better PFS ( Figures 5C, D ).

Diastolic blood pressure (DBP) was significantly higher in mothers of AN+ children ( P < 0.037) and BMI showed borderline significance ( P = 0.060).

The GWAS study in China, using 498 patients and 2025 controls from the Han Chinese population, revealed borderline significance (p = 0.06) for the SNP rs3918347 [ 48 ], which is 890 bp from our SNP rs55944529.

In models adjusted for study centre, hyperlipidaemia ( β = −0.27, 95%CI 0.00–0.53, p = 0.046) remained associated with decreased cGM volume, whilst hypertension showed borderline significance ( β = −0.22, 95%CI −0.01 to 0.45, p = 0.06) (Tables S9 and S10 ).

Complications for pain were also higher in the L-TEP group as compared to R-TAPP group and approached borderline significance (p = 0.06).

Furthermore, we noted different effects of age on the different rat strains ( F 3,69 = 14.8, p < 0.0001; Figure 4C ): in Wistar rats, ANP density decreased from PND10 to PND14 ( p < 0.0001) and then from PND20 to PND45 ( p < 0.04), whereas in OXYS rats, it was lower at PND10 ( p < 0.003), decreased to PND14 ( p < 0.0001) remaining lower than in Wistar rats with borderline significance ( p = 0.06), and then increased until PND20 ( p < 0.0001) becoming higher than in Wistar rats ( p < 0.005) and remaining at the increased level at PND45 ( p < 0.03).

Hydrocephalus without VPS resulted in decreased MMSE scores with borderline significance (β=-6.215, p =0.060) and increased risk of down-grade in the prognosis (OR=9.36, 95% CI=1.13 to 77.32).

Of note, T-stage showed borderline significance for BCSS (P=0.06).
