45 Notably, the only triplet compared with Pom-Dex, pomalidomide-cyclophosphamide-dexamethasone, was in a randomized phase II trial with a weak surrogate primary end point (overall response rate) and borderline significance ( P = .035). 46 Given that Pom-Dex is relatively well tolerated, 47 , 48 and that toxicities are a serious concern for modern myeloma drugs, 49 our findings may have real-world significance.
Why not report the phenotype of all 11 patients at least in general terms? I understand that only 4 patients consented for additional follow-up but isn't there even general properties of the clinical presentation that might provide additional insight? The CNV burden is borderline significance (p=0.035).
Sensitivity analyses addressing missing smoking data confirmed the robustness of this effect: HRs for smokers versus non-smokers remained around 1.9–2.0 with borderline significance ( p = 0.036–0.052), and although attenuated when “unknowns” were treated as smokers (HR = 1.53; p = 0.089), the direction of association persisted.
In the multivariate logistic regression model, older age (AOR = 1.14; 95% CI = 1.05-1.25; p = 0.003) and absence of a family history of diabetes (AOR = 0.07; 95% CI = 0.02-0.27; p < 0.001) remained significant independent predictors of diabetes, while having a CD4 count <200 cells/μL also showed borderline significance (AOR = 0.14; 95% CI = 0.02-0.88; p = 0.036) (Table 4 ).
In pregnant females, the regression with a Bonferroni-corrected significance level showed borderline significance on depression scores (EPDS) for both the left amygdala ( R 2 = .37, beta = .61, p = .036) and the right amygdala during downregulation ( R 2 = .38, beta = .61, p = .034).
However this result is limited by a low case number in each subgroup and showed a borderline significance: low risk subgroup P = 0.036, HR = 7.308, CI 95 1.168–45.703; other than low risk subgroup P = 0.027, HR = 7.442, CI 95 1.677–33.028, importantly due to multiple testing (k = 2) a P -value <0.025 is considered as statistically significant, Fig. 2a .
However, pooling the XpYp data from labeled volunteers revealed that telomere lengths were maintained to a slightly greater extent in the CD57 − memory CD4 + T cell population compared with the CD57 + memory CD4 + T cell population ( Figure 3 D), and pooling the 17p data from volunteers in cohort 3 yielded a similar result with borderline significance (p = 0.037, Mann-Whitney U test; data not shown).
A higher proportion of females with ID (26.8%) carried causative variants in comparison to males (18.4%) although with a borderline significance ( p = 0.037, Table 2 ).
There was borderline significance for the variable ‘percentage of time in LLDAS or remission’ between scans (p=0.037) but we place no weight on this as all other variables related to disease activity remained non-significant.
For the QLQ-C30, overall, only the mean score for the DI scale was statistically significantly different ( P <0.0001); borderline significance was found for SL ( P =0.0376) between pancreatic and other NETs.
Notably, DSAM showed borderline significance when compared to BrainRGIN in Accuracy (p = 0.0377) and to N+E (Concat) in Accuracy (p = 0.0778), although these results were less conclusive (see Table 4 ). 4.3.
However, the differences in symptom severity between the CHM and control groups only achieved borderline significance when corrected by the Bonferroni's method ( p = 0.038).
Results Association of Serum IL-35 With SLE and SLEDAI-2K Scores Serum IL-35 was elevated in SLE patients (median: 26.39 pg/ml; interquartile range, IQR: 22.48-34.84 pg/ml) compared with healthy controls (median: 24.85 pg/ml; IQR: 18.89-29.20 pg/ml) although with borderline significance ( p =0.038) ( Figure 2A ).
The sum of Björk polygon angles exhibited coefficients ranging from 0.236 to 0.305, with borderline significance observed in model 4 (B = 0.294, p = 0.038).

Time to immersion was also negatively associated with image quality in chest images with borderline significance ( p = 0.039), although there were several missing datapoints (69/258; 26.7%) where this was not recorded in the clinical notes.
