No differences were found for ongoing pregnancy or live birth per woman (OR 1.27; 95% CI: 0.98 to 1.64), however borderline significance was observed for some secondary outcomes in favour of both hMG and r-hFSH depending on the endpoint.
Patients receiving conventional radiotherapy failed earlier compared to the patients in the CHART arm and advanced clinical stage was asso- ciated with a relatively earlier failure. The results of hypothesis testing are shown in Table 3 where the Hcomb was significant for both the treatment arm (2P = 0.005) and the clinical stage (2P = 0.004), whereas a borderline significance was observed for age (2P = 0.08).
For the remaining 20 studies effectiveness was required for at least one primary outcome; seven of these RCTs adjusted for multiplicity (either a formal procedure (Bonferroni or Holm) [ 8 ]; hierarchical testing methods; p -values between 0.025 and 0.05 considered to have borderline significance; or performing a post-hoc analysis with 97.5% confidence intervals).
Although we did not find similar significant changes in old genetically modified animals, some results displayed borderline significance here (e.g., correlations between NR1 in the R side and iNOS laterality, between NR1 laterality and iNOS in the R side and between NR1 laterality and iNOS laterality, see Table 4 ).
