A recent meta-analysis of five prospective studies showed a higher (with borderline significance) predictive value of central as compared with peripheral PP, although central and peripheral PP were not measured simultaneously under the same conditions in all studies included in the analysis. 18 Accordingly, Wang et al showed that when central and peripheral systolic pressure were both included into a regression model, only central pressure remained significantly related to cardiovascular risk. 19 Moreover, BP-lowering drugs can have differential effects on central aortic pressures and hemodynamics compared with brachial BP.
Correcting for multiple testing using q-values based on Benjamini, Krieger, and Yekutieli (2006) [ 24 ] did not change any of the conclusions about statistical significance; corrections using q-values based on Benjamini and Hochberg (1995) [ 25 ] did not change conclusions for six out of seven statistically significant impacts reported and showed borderline significance for the seventh (minimum meal frequency: q = 0.0519).
For rs731236 in overall meta‐analysis (based on minor allele; t) no significant result for the risk of CRC was observed, but in subgroup analysis in Middle East population the results were significant in heterozygote (Tt vs TT) (0.76 [0.61‐0.95]) and overdominant models (Tt vs TT + tt) (0.75 [0.61‐0.92]), and borderline significance was observed in dominant model (tt + Tt vs TT) (0.81 [0.66‐1.00]) (Figure 2 , Figure S2 ).
Although between-group comparisons did not show statistical significance, baseline-adjusted ANCOVA revealed a borderline significance for TNF-α, suggesting a potential anti-inflammatory effect of LL supplementation.
Performing the same analysis in patients with TP53 mutated tumours all receiving adjuvant chemotherapy (n = 19), there is a borderline significance toward better prognosis for patients with higher expression of the gene. 3.4 Target gene search within specific gene expression subtypes The presence of TP53 mutations is one possible way of identifying subgroups for target gene search.
In Phase 2, age ≥65 years remained significantly associated with moderate II or higher disease across all models, antipsychotic use showed a robust positive association, and the effect of aspiration pneumonia was strong in unadjusted models but attenuated to borderline significance after multivariable adjustment.
Using univariate logistic regression analyses the following variables were associated with BK viral replication (Table 3 ): ESP recipient status, recipient age, prior biopsy proven acute rejections (BPAR), lack of participation in prospective clinical transplant trials, mode of renal replacement therapy prior to transplantation, previous transplantation, donor (IgG -) as well as recipient (IgG +) CMV-serostatus, LDL-cholesterol, and - with borderline significance - 25-hydroxy vitamin D level.
