These strains did exhibit an apparent trend towards lower fitness upon multiplexing; the average fitness of individual stress response gene perturbations (1.10 ± 0.24) decreased upon combining perturbation in pairs (1.04 ± 0.16), triplets (1.02 ± 0.23), and all at once (0.91 ± 0.18) (Fig. 2e ).

From examining our data, we observed an apparent trend whereby patients with wrist-worn devices appeared to exhibit less variation between compliance outcomes (ie, lower SD), whereas those with clip-on devices exhibit greater variation across the 5 criteria.
However, except for multi‐scanner repeatability study that reported uniform ADC across femur, ilium and vertebrae [ 18 ], there is an apparent trend for marginally higher ADC values in vertebrae versus femur and similar ADC in ilium and femur of healthy subjects in literature [ 16 , 17 , 36 , 37 ].

As described by Simpson’s paradox [ 46 ], an apparent trend can often be reversed or even disappear depending on how data are grouped.
6 , 7 Nonetheless, an apparent trend in recent experimental T 3 KIEs for wild‐type and mutant COMTs has been interpreted as new evidence for compression. 2 , 3 Meanwhile, the functional importance of unconventional CH⋅⋅⋅O hydrogen bonding in AdoMet‐dependent methyltransferases has been noted from a survey of high‐resolution crystal structures, 2 but the possible influence of these interactions on KIEs for methyl transfer is unknown.
Fourth, there was an apparent trend towards higher mortality in the CRP-guided therapy group, with no statistically significant difference.
Together with the absence of an apparent trend in the distribution of differences, these results suggest that the BioExP could serve as a robust and reliable tool for osmotic fragility testing under standard (control) conditions.
GATA3 expression showed a trend toward upregulation in the CYP and CPL groups compared with NC; SCPH did not significantly change GATA3 levels but showed an apparent trend toward downregulation relative to CYP, as illustrated in Figures 5A –D, consistent with the reciprocal regulation of TBX21 and GATA3 in Th1/Th2 balance. 3.4 SCPH rebalances the Th1/Th2 serum cytokines and immunoglobulin production Serum levels of Th1-associated cytokines (IFNG, IL1B) and Th2-associated cytokines (IL4, IL10) were quantified using highly sensitive double-antibody sandwich ELISAs, and IgG, IgM, and IgA concentrations were measured by inverse antigen competitive ELISA.
Results : Despite no significant difference observed in gross morphology and viability, as well as variable expression of RAC1, insulin, and SNAP25 in islets from 1-, 3-, and 7-day-old neonatal pigs, there was an apparent trend towards improved function in islets obtained from 3- and 7-day-old pigs compared with 1-day-old pigs.
When comparing patients treated with or without surgical resection of the tumor there is an apparent trend of quicker HPV cfDNA clearance among patients treated with surgery, but the cohort was too small to draw definitive conclusions.
Despite an apparent trend towards higher levels of urinary AMP, GTP, GMP, UDP, and Uri in OAB patients, the only significant changes in the urine of these patients were an increase in Ado, and a decrease in UMP ( P < 0.05; n ≥ 11).
These findings suggest that while there is an apparent trend of poorer survival outcomes in patients with TP53 alterations, this difference may not be reliable and could be due to chance.

Post-deconditioning, there was an apparent trend towards a decrease in palmitate fractional incorporation rate (to 0.35 ± 0.3%/h), but not for linoleate (which was measured at 0.21 ± 0.2%/h) (Table 3 , Fig. 3A ) The rates of plasma appearance for both palmitate and linoleate were unchanged and therefore unaffected by the post-exercise intervention status.
