The ZNF801A KD line also showed an increase in proliferation compared with the untreated control (wild type line; parent line, but not transduced with an shRNA vector), which almost reached statistical significance (Student’s t-test, two tailed, p = 0.052 and 0.056 for days 4 and 5, respectively).
There was no significant difference between the three groups at rest but at the peak of exercise patients with CAD had lower 6-keto-prostaglandin-F1a/thromboxane B 2 ratio compared with healthy volunteers that almost reached statistical significance (p = 0.053) (Figure 3C ).
There were others PCC factors that almost reached statistical significance: GP and nurse roles in managing patients’ mental health, such that higher punctuation in GP role was positively associated with amount of contact (p = 0.053), but higher punctuation in nurse role was negatively associated (p = 0.0589); and communication between GPs and social workers was positively associated with amount of contact with GPs (p = 0.0508; see Additional file 2 : Table S2).
However, of note is the INTERACT sub-scale Negative Interactions, which almost reached statistical significance ( F [1, 61] = 3.88, p = 0.053, partial eta 2 = 0.060), where it was observed that residents in the experimental condition exhibited fewer negative interactions at T1, compared to residents in the control condition.
The task × glasses interaction almost reached statistical significance ( p = 0.053) because the differences in favor of the strobe glasses condition were more accentuated for the task performed with the ball (small to moderate differences) than for the task performed without the ball (negligible differences) (Figure 2 ).
Interestingly, the severity of IBD at the time of the second diagnosis almost reached statistical significance ( p = 0.053) in relation to improvement, which might suggest that the timing of the therapy modification in relation to disease severity is crucial.
Statistically, more controls had received higher education than STI patients ( P = 0.023), while a higher proportion of cases (78/106, 73.6%) were married as compared to controls (38/64, 59.4%), which almost reached statistical significance ( P = 0.054).
There was no overall difference in COVID-19-associated deaths, HR 0.99, 95% CI 0.79 to 1.23, p=0.993, but subgroup analysis showed a non-significant reduced risk of death in veterans aged 61–70 years, and a 38% higher risk in veterans aged over 70 years which almost reached statistical significance, p=0.054.
