47 With respect to secondary outcomes, we did find a trend toward significance between AMSA‐avg and ROSC, which is similar to an adult witnessed OHCA VF study in which AMSA‐avg was associated with pre‐hospital ROSC, hospital admission, and hospital discharge. 33 A follow‐up to that study by Indik and colleagues evaluated adult VF OHCA and also found that AMSA‐avg was highly associated not only with survival to hospital discharge, but also survival with good neurologic outcome. 37 Additionally, these authors were able to demonstrate that AMSA‐avg could predict resuscitation outcome independent of chest compression quality.
Regarding control sources (Table 2 and Figure 4 B), significant effect sizes were observed in studies with controls recruited from the community or social settings (SMD = −0.37, 95% CI: [−0.58; −0.16]) and hospitals (SMD = −0.80, 95% CI: [−1.30; −0.29]), with studies using unspecified control sources showing a trend toward significance (SMD = −1.60, 95% CI: [−3.30; 0.09]).
All analyses were conducted using SPSS version 23.0 (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA) and R software, version 3.2.5 for Windows (the R foundation for statistical computing, Vienna, Austria), and p -values < 0.05 were considered statistically significant; p -values between 0.05 and 0.15 were considered as a trend toward significance. 5.
19 Kraeutler et al 19 also showed a trend toward significance with a higher proportion of patients in the postless group achieving a substantial clinical benefit (SCB) for the VAS score at roughly the 2-year follow-up (postless, 55.6%; post-assisted, 34.1%; P = .08).
The LMM with the relative abundance of ‘H 2 -Producers’ as a covariate showed significant interaction between group and ‘H 2 -Producers’ in OSA-MA Factor 2, VAS score for sleep quality, and VAS score for mental stress, and a trend toward significance in OSA-MA Factor 4 and VAS score for physical fatigue (Table 3 ).
Although the number of T‐bet + Th1 cells was significantly higher in patients with CXCL9 high and a trend toward significance was detected with the number of CD8 + cytotoxic T cells in all iCCA stages, the difference was not statistically significant when early (stages ≤II) and advanced (stages ≥III) cancer stages were considered separately (Figure 2 E,F).
