When the extracted events are broken up by publication year, a strong trend for increasing number of citations containing gene/protein mentions and events is visible, with 25% of citations from the last 10 years containing at least one event ( Fig. 2 ).

The EMERALD-1 trial showed that the addition of durvalumab (anti-PD-L1) and bevacizumab to TACE significantly extended progression-free survival compared with TACE alone (15.0 versus 8.2 months; HR 0.77, p = 0.032), successfully meeting the primary endpoint and demonstrating a strong trend toward overall survival improvement [ 93 ].
[ 98 ], based on the NHANES III population, a strong trend was noted in which lower bone mineral density (BMD) as determined by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) was strongly associated with reduced creatinine clearance as estimate by the Cockcroft-Gault (CCr) equation.
To reduce these bioethical problems, there is a strong trend to apply the “3 Rs” rule in experiments that involve animal use, which are: reduce the numbers of animals; refine the protocols to increase animal comfort and reduce pain; replace animals for other models that do not have bioethical problems associated [ 1 ].
At this time point, CART3-mCALR cell-treated mice exhibited a significant reduction in tumor burden compared with mock-treated animals, achieving complete tumor clearance in one mouse and demonstrating a strong trend toward increased infiltration of human T lymphocytes in both the spleen and bone marrow ( figure 3D ).
In contrast, lung metastases grew slowest in mice treated with SAR405, with a strong trend toward reduced endpoint tumor burden in mice treated with SAR405 alone as compared to MBC-613, and the addition of SAR405 to MCB-613 restored efficacy to near levels observed for single-agent SAR405 ( Fig. 6 A and B ).
These immunoblotting data indicate that the incubated cocaine-craving observed under the present self-administration procedures is associated with a strong trend towards a PL-selective reduction in mGlu1 and mGlu5 expression and that acute, oral, dosing with 1.0 mg/kg everolimus is sufficient to reverse these neuroadaptations within the PL and to augment mGlu1 dimer expression also within the IL.
