Biological Pathway Insights Two pathways were notably altered: alanine, aspartate and glutamate metabolism was the most significantly disturbed pathway in both enrichment and topology analyses ( p < 0.05 for both), and tryptophan metabolism was significantly altered in the enrichment analysis while showing a strong trend toward significance ( p = 0.058) in the topology analysis.
