186 As shown in Figure 8 h–j, AIMD simulations reveal a statistical trend wherein the O–O bond of the hydrogen peroxide molecule (the reactant) is located at a greater distance from the platinum surface under negative surface charge conditions, simulated by introducing a lithium ion in the water layer ( Figure 8 h), as compared to the positive surface charge condition simulated by introducing a fluorine anion in the water layer ( Figure 8 i).
Despite the lack of a significant increase in corticospinal excitability, some lines of evidence suggest that motor learning could have occured in M1 during motor practice: i) motor practice led to a 24 % increase in corticospinal excitability whereas the dot observation and movement observation conditions both led to small decreases in M1 excitability; ii) there was a statistical trend towards significance for the interaction between the Time and Group variables, driven by the increase in MEP size from T1 to T2 in the motor practice group; iii) 8 out of 11 participants showed increased corticospinal excitability following motor practice; iv) behavioral data showed significantly increased movement speed after motor practice.
Comparing the tumors with no or positive hilar lymphnode metastases (pN0 and pN1) with those having already spread to mediastinal lymphnodes (pN2 and pN3) a statistical trend (percentage of positive cells) and a statistical significance (staining intensity) for an increase of LDH5 expression was found (table 2 ).
Trend tests across ordered categories indicated a monotonic association between adherence level and several baseline risk characteristics (P for trend = 0.018); patients with lower adherence tended to be older, have more advanced tumor stage, and exhibit higher comorbidity burden, indicating a statistical trend between adherence levels and these baseline profiles.
