While most prominent descriptors are not positively correlated with each other, there is a notable exception concerning electronic (MolMR) and structural features (1χ, MolWt, and HeavyAtomCounts). Although this correlation might be understandable by similarities in how these quantitative descriptors are generated, this behavior is not only a statistical trend.
Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that low levels of CRP (<8 mg/L, hazard ratio 4.687 (95% CI 1.144–19.199, p= 0.032) were significantly associated with a prolonged transplant-free survival whereas higher age (≥35 years, hazard ratio 0.488 (95% CI 0.23–1.038), p = 0.062) showed a statistical trend for shorter transplant-free survival in patients with SSC-CIP ( Table 3 ).
Regarding the role of the personality traits, that has rarely been addressed in cognitive training to date, a significant positive association of neuroticism was found for the WM training tasks and a statistical trend to a negative relation with the untrained n -back transfer task of moderate effect size, whereas no significant association was observed for the untrained word list task.
Thirdly, microgliosis markers Aif1 , Trem2 , Hexb , Sall1 , Olfml3 , Hexb , Fcrls , Spi1 , Cx3cr1 , the microglia homeostasis marker P2ry12 , and the mature microglia marker Tmem119 appeared unchanged, while the Trem2 -signaling partner Tyrobp exhibited a statistical trend towards upregulation (log2FC 0.02 in microglial fraction).
Planned comparison analysis revealed a significant increase in the number of c-FOS expressing cells in the RF group, as compared to AL negative controls, for all regions examined with only four exceptions: the PFC and VTA remained at AL levels (although the VTA does exhibit a statistical trend), while the SCN and PVN were lower than their respective AL counterparts ( Figure 4 and Figure 5 ).
48 – 50 A recent systematic review 51 indicated that multiple HVLA thrusts delivered over several treatment sessions resulted in a statistical trend towards improving pain pressure scores and self-report levels of pain. 52 Further, a single treatment session, which involved multiple osteopathic and manipulative techniques, immediately reduced self-reported pain relative to a control group in patients with acute LAS. 53 Similarly, studies that used multiple manipulative techniques 54 , 55 delivered over several treatment sessions reported significant improvements in pain outcome measures.
Importantly, for all comparisons where one of the two analyses, t -test or regression slope, showed a statistical trend, the remaining analysis showed statistical significance, the only exceptions being gene expression in UV exposed skin at week 17 for IFN-γ and at week 31 for the ratios of CTACK/CCL22 and (IL-12+IFN-γ)/(IL-4+IL-10), for which the t -test was not significant and the regression slopes only showed statistical trends.
5G and H , respectively). Using multivariate analysis (Cox’s proportional hazard model), the concurrent expression of both protein is not significantly associated with better prognosis in each of subgroup of PNETs, although a statistical trend could be seen (p value between 0.150 to 0.08, see Supplementary Table S8 ), likely due to the smaller sample sizes when we divided all PNETs into 4 groups.
Although 6 specimens per group (18 shoulders in total) is a reasonable number and significant differences were observed, the groups might still be underpowered, which may also explain why the higher ultimate load to failure in the CH group compared with the LPCC group showed only a statistical trend but no actual significant difference.
