The cfPWV changes during intervention did not differ significantly between groups, but there was a slight trend towards a higher cfPWV with vitamin K supplementation at the 2-year follow-up. cfPWV results remained unaltered after adjustment for mean arterial pressure obtained just prior to PWV measurements {mean difference in cfPWV at Year 2 after adjustment: 1.1 m/s [95% confidence interval (CI) −0.1 to 2.2, P = 0.07]} (Table 3) .
Therefore, we ran a 2-way repeated-measures ANOVA with factors “stimulation frequency” and “TMS condition” on the EMG signal, which showed no significant main effects of condition or frequency nor interactions between these two factors ( F (1,8) = 4.42; p = 0.07; η 2 = 0.35), although revealing a slight trend in the same direction as for sensorimotor beta-power ( Fig. 2 D–F).
In contrast, the partial correlations between nose poke and lever press–nose poke performance ( r = 0.29, p = 0.09828; with initial magazine checking partialed out) and initial magazine checking and lever press–nose poke performance ( r = 0.31, p = 0.07664; with reward collection partialed out) showed a slight trend toward correlation but were insignificant.
The correlation between turning and nearest neighbor position in groups selected for cohesion was not significantly stronger than in non-selected groups, though a slight trend was observed. 69 These findings, along with our results in A. mexicanus , support the idea that the modulation of turning and speed is essential to evolved differences in collective behavior across fish species.
These data do not directly explain the functional changes although there seems to be a slight trend of increased capillary density in both the border zone and infarcted area of both cell groups; however, a significant increase in the number of vessels was only found in the infarcted area of the BMMNC-primed group as seen in Fig. 4 .
