During the acute HCV infection we found a slight trend of a reduction of the TIGIT/PD-1 frequency of HCV–specific CD4+ T cells of the patient group that developed a chronic HCV (n = 6) infection compared to patients who later spontaneously eliminated the virus (n = 4) (Fig. 3D ), however this difference did not reach statistical significance (p = 0,0933) probably due to the small cohort size and larger cohorts are needed to investigate this question.
Three out of seven microRNAs ( miR-7b , miR-22 and miR-199b ) display a slight trend to increase in ileum collected from APC Min/+ mice, while the others ( let-7e , miR-29b , miR-378 and miR-486 ) are significatively downregulated in cancerous lesions, thus indicating a closer association of these microRNAs to differentiation process rather than proliferation one ( Fig 4 ).
In contrast, although a slight trend may have been apparent, we did not find a significant difference between stimulus flicker frequencies for the global cortical BOLD signal, suggesting that brain-wide hemodynamic effects were similar despite focal differences in visual cortex ( Fig 3C , 95% CI for the difference in the AUC of cortex between each frequency and 4 Hz: [−1.35, 1.65], [−0.51, 2.12], [−0.02, 1.55], Bonferroni corrected ) .
