In contrast, technical artefacts were less frequently observed (15/33; 45.5%), and when they occurred, there was a significant trend ( p = 0.0309) towards EEG unreliability (relative risk: 4.2; confidence interval [CI]: 1.3–13.8).

A significant trend of this being less of a barrier was noted with increasing supervision experience (Mantel–Haenszel test of trend, P = 0.031, Fig. 5 D).
