These findings are similar to those in a study of an elderly population in Finland where detection of pneumococcus was significantly reduced for NP culture and showed a nonsignificant trend toward reduction by PCR [ 22 ].

There was a nonsignificant trend toward increased use of palliative regimens using 8 Gy in 1 fraction or 20 Gy in 5 fractions with IROC; there was no difference before or after IROC implementation in delivery of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and/or stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) regimens in the inpatient setting ( Table 1 ).
45 , 46 , 47 However, further definitive studies have since had inconsistent results and recent meta-analyses of multiple trials demonstrate only a nonsignificant trend towards benefit in patients treated with NAC.
[ 43 ] showed conversion from CNI to mTOR inhibitor in low-to-moderate risk kidney transplant recipients actually resulted in a nonsignificant trend towards increased PTDM risk.
