Subgroups and secondary endpoints There was no evidence of effect modification by BCLC stage (interaction p = 0.28) or HBV status (interaction p = 0.34), and only a nonsignificant trend toward stronger associations in non-curative versus curative therapy settings (interaction p = 0.12) (Table 3 ).

Grade I tumors exhibited a nonsignificant trend toward reduced survival in the high-expression group (HR = 2.01, 95% CI: 0.82–4.89, p = 0.12) ( Fig. 4 A), while significant survival differences were observed in grade II (HR = 1.63, 95% CI: 1.09–2.44, p = 0.017) and grade III tumors (HR = 1.97, 95% CI: 1.15–3.37, p = 0.012) ( Fig. 4 B,C).

Result(s) There was a nonsignificant trend toward a lower risk of intrauterine growth restriction (4% vs. 16%, P = .124) and preterm delivery (6% vs. 15%, P = .343) among patients who lost at least some weight.
