There was a nonsignificant trend towards a decrease in acylcarnitine to free carnitine ratio in the RV of R899X mice that were treated with l ‐carnitine (Figure 3d ). l ‐Carnitine increases fatty acid mediated mitochondrial respiration and β‐oxidation of fatty acids To assess whether l ‐carnitine supplementation improved fatty acid‐mediated mitochondrial respiration, a subset of mice were killed and the RV tissue was immediately permeabilized for measurement of oxygen respiration in response to various substrates and inhibitors of mitochondrial respiration.
When DII was categorized into three levels using the LDII group as the reference, participants in the HDII group had significantly lower LE8 scores (adjusted β = −4.741, 95% CI: −8.124 to −1.358, adjusted for age, sex and energy intake), whereas the MDII group showed a nonsignificant trend toward lower scores (adjusted β = −2.121, 95% CI: −5.183 to 0.940).
Discussion The results of Experiment 1 seem to indicate that binocular disparity does not contribute to the fast recognition of visual scenes, if anything, a nonsignificant trend for worse recognition of stereo pictures emerged, a result which is strikingly different from the observation of Liu and colleagues (2000) , who found that stereo produced a small (2.5%) enhancement in the recognition rate of faces with a viewing time of 1.5 s and the observation of Valsecchi and Gegenfurtner (2012) , who found a significant improvement in the long-term memorization rate when observers viewed the same forest pictures for 7 s.
Short-term treatment was shown to be similarly efficacious for BP II and UP patients; a nonsignificant trend toward earlier reduction in HAM-D17 scores was observed in the BP II group.

NC-MRA has been validated previously for qualitative evaluation of the thoracic aorta[ 3 ] and veins,[ 5 ] as well as the pulmonary arteries.[ 4 ] Gebker et al , showed that NC-MRA (SSFP), C-MRA, and turbo spin echo yielded equivalent measurements of the thoracic aorta in adults with aortic disease.[ 6 ] Francois et al , compared 3D SSFP and C-MRA for measurement of the thoracic aorta in adults with vascular disease and found, similar to our data, a nonsignificant trend toward smaller measurements using 3D SSFP.[ 7 ] More recently Potthast et al , in a comparison of 3D SSFP, C-MRA and two 2D sequences for measurement of the thoracic aorta in adults, confirmed the equivalence of the 3D imaging techniques.[ 8 ] These investigators found the 3D SSFP images to be sharper with better defined edges compared to C-MRA.
Studies restricted to Child-Pugh A/B only (no C) In studies including only Child-Pugh A or B patients, 17 , 22 DOAC therapy was associated with a significantly higher rate of complete PVT recanalization compared with VKAs (RR, 3.50; 95% CI, 2.04-6.00; I 2 = 0%), and a nonsignificant trend toward higher rates of partial PVT recanalization compared with VKAs (RR, 2.00; 95% CI, 0.78-5.14; I 2 = 0%).
