In human prostate tumor samples taken before ADT, the density of perivascular FR-β+ CD68+ TAMs was significantly greater in patients who did not respond to ADT than in responders; there was also a nonsignificant trend for PV FR-β+ CD68+ TAMs to also be greater after ADT in nonresponders than in responders [ 174 ].
Furthermore, patients with chest pain within 24 h of their SE ( n =14) had a nonsignificant trend toward lower GLS (−18.8±3% vs −19.6±3.3%); this apparent relationship of GLS with typical and recent anginal symptoms lends support to the theory that GLS is reduced in CAD patients because of ischemic stunning.
Nevertheless, this burden does not appear to have an adverse effect on overall quality of life in the TIME-2 trial, which noted similar improvement in both arms with a nonsignificant trend favoring IPC. 15 The TIME-2 randomized trial of IPC versus talc pleurodesis also did not find a difference in the primary outcome measure of dyspnea improvement at 42 days on a visual analog scale, although improved symptoms became significant at the 6 months’ time point in favor of the IPC group. 15 The commonest protocol (TPC in the endoscopy suite without sclerosant instillation with liberal drainage) had a mean indwelling time of 57 days with a range of 23–372 days.
Here, we observed that LV tissue from male patients with end-stage heart failure due to DCM or ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) ( n = 8) displayed higher mRNA levels of the adipocyte marker CCAAT/enhancer binding protein alpha (CEBPA) (+133 ± 142%, P < 0.05) and a nonsignificant trend to higher COX-2 (+33 ± 91%, not significant) mRNA levels compared with LV samples from healthy male organ donors ( n = 6).
Our current data did not allow us to identify factors relating to possible abuse histories that may have differed systematically between our male and female participants; our data showed a nonsignificant trend (after Bonferroni correction) for men with dissociative seizures to be more likely to be prescribed AEDs, raising the possibility of medical factors being more pertinent for men than women in the sample.
When stratifying the survival analysis by these age groups (Supplemental Table S6, https://links.lww.com/HC9/C446 ), the intermediate and high-risk tiers of the KASL/EASL pathway did not reach statistical significance in either age group after multivariable adjustment, although a nonsignificant trend toward increased risk was observed in the younger cohort.
In studies of cerebellar atrophy, no correlation has been found with CAG repeat [ 46 , 47 ], and there is a nonsignificant trend toward an inverse correlation between cerebellar atrophy and disease duration, given that cerebellar neuronal loss occurs later in the clinical course of the disease [ 48 ].
The results revealed that whether SBRT followed by TACE or TACE followed by SBRT, SBRT plus TACE was significantly better than monotherapy for 1- and 2- year survival rates of patients; however, compared with patients receiving TACE followed by SBRT, there was a nonsignificant trend for patients receiving SBRT followed by TACE to have a higher ORR than monotherapy.
In this sample of male inpatients with schizophrenia we found little evidence of a relationship between neurocognitive variables and either symptoms or functional measures, with the exception of a nonsignificant trend relationship between decrements in verbal working memory performance and increased scores on the disturbing or aggressive behaviour subscale of the PSP.
