Compared with the T1 time point, the incidence of hypothermia in the routine warming group increased significantly, rising from 21.84 to 48.28% ( p < 0.001); in contrast, the incidence of hypothermia in the enhanced warming group showed a decreasing trend, dropping from 31.91 to 27.66%. 3.3.
A decreasing trend was observed from plasma control to serum control in the ∆ H 2 /∆ H 1 enthalpy change ratio (Figure 5G ), while the ∆ H 2 /∆ H 3 , ∆ H 2 /∆ H 4 , and ∆ H 2 /∆ H 5 ratios differed ( p < .05) across the examined plasma samples (Figure 5H–J ). 4 DISCUSSION The objectives of this study were twofold: ( i ) to evaluate the stability of dried plasma for remote damage control resuscitation following exposure to the harsh Arctic environment, and ( ii ) to assess the feasibility and logistical challenges of its deployment during Arctic operations.
The changes were recorded in the weekly body weights of mice throughout the experiment. Compared with Con, the body weights of mice in all treatment groups commenced to show a decreasing trend after FCDs gavage and exhibited a concentration correlation, with mice in the CDs-25-treated group displaying significant reductions by 2.6% ( Figure b).
Most studies have examined the short-term impacts of temperature variability on COPD-related mortality or hospital admissions; , − however, recent studies have shown a decreasing trend in short-term temperature fluctuations, while long-term variability is increasing, suggesting that chronic exposure to temperature variability may pose greater challenges to human health.
Overall, the total numbers of heatwave and cold spell days vary with the temperature threshold and duration. The numbers of heatwaves and cold spells by the subperiods are summarized in Table S1 , where an increasing number of heatwave days was observed over time, whereas the total number of cold spells showed a decreasing trend.
