The highly significant F-values for fruit weight and physicochemical features ( p < 0.001) suggested that apple genotypes accounted for a significant proportion of variance in the dependent traits.
Excerpts
In the first experiment, the results revealed a highly significant effect of treatments on survival rate (F(20,42) = 118.348, p < 0.001).
The model revealed highly significant exponential growth (β = 0.108; p < 0.001; R 2 = 0.952), indicating strong explanatory power and confirming a robust pattern of expansion in the field under study.
For growth inhibition, the results were highly significant ( p < 0.001), with an effect size (η2 = 0.60) indicating a large effect, reflecting that the difference in growth between the control and dual culture conditions had become more pronounced on Day 14.
Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) conducted on the selected principal components revealed that genotype (Variety) had a highly significant effect on overall terpene composition during both the vegetative and flowering stages (Pillai’s trace test, p < 0.001), confirming the strong genetic determinism of varietal aromatic profiles.
The established regression model was found to be statistically highly significant at a 95% confidence interval (Fmodel = 11.38, p = 0.001).
ANOVA revealed highly significant treatment effects on disease progression parameters [F(8,18) = 1778.20, p < 0.001].
ANOVA across multiple environments revealed highly significant effects ( p ≤ 0.001) of genotype (G), environment, and genotype × environment (G × E) interactions on both GPC and WGC ( Table A3 ).
As EI was calculated with S values for the four observation dates, it yielded a better correlation with the global I*S index (r = 0.88) than Sy < V (r = 0.77), although both were highly significant ( p < 0.001); the same occurred when the analysis was carried out with S and I separately.
Notably, shoot total phosphorus content consistently exceeded root content, showing a highly significant difference ( p < 0.001) under both P1 and P2 treatments.
In the fungal community ( Figure 6 b), Glomeromycota showed a highly significant negative correlation with TK (blue, p < 0.001), representing the strongest correlation among all fungal phyla, indicating that TK content exerts a strong regulatory effect on the distribution of this group.
The statistical analysis for TPC revealed that the treatment effect was highly significant (F = 8.16, df = 3, 64, p < 0.001), indicating that the different treatments had a significant impact on TPC ( Table S1 ).
Salinity had no significant effect on the EEA C:N , EEA C:P , and EEA N:P ( p > 0.05), but location had a highly significant effect on these ( p < 0.001; Figure 1 e–h).
There was a highly significant difference in the resistance between the two hosts ( P < 0.001): the Xoo lesions on Dalixiang were approximately 16.6 cm long, while those on O. meyeriana were only about 0.62 cm ( Figure 1 ).
Effect of coating was not significant ( p > 0.05) on shoot N and C content but highly significant for shoot δ 13 C ( p < 0.001), and less significant for shoot δ 15 N ( p < 0.05).
Variation among populations, 13%, was highly significant ( P < 0.001) ( Table 3 ).
The Welch ANOVA results revealed highly significant differences ( p < 0.001) in the three main phenological dimensions and in bud dormancy (EF010), confirming that each phenological module responds differently to local environmental conditions.
Two-way ANOVA revealed highly significant main effects of strain, salinity level, and their interaction on all germination-related variables ( p < 0.001, Figure 2 ).
A Kruskal–Wallis test revealed a highly significant effect of response type on both total embryo counts (H = 37.68, p < 0.001) and the number of embryogenic explants (H = 37.43, p < 0.001).
One-way ANOVA revealed highly significant differences in herbivory rates among sites ( F 4,95 = 13.4; p < 0.001).
The findings ( Figure 5 ) indicated highly significant negative correlations ( p < 0.001) between PEG-6000 concentrations and shoot dry biomass, Cd concentration in roots and shoots, and Cd accumulation in roots, shoots, and entire plants.
A two-way ANOVA indicated highly significant effects of salinity stress ( p < 0.001), EXc ( p < 0.001), EXd ( p < 0.001), and their interactions ( p < 0.001) ( Figure 3 ).
Across all four experimental conditions, analysis of variance (ANOVA) consistently demonstrated significant effects of genotype on disease response, with F-values ranging from 26.65 to 122.02 and highly significant p -values ( p < 0.001), as shown in Table 3 .
Additionally, Vicinamibacteraceae exhibited a highly significant positive association with RB4 1 (r = 0.798, p < 0.001), implying shared ecological strategies that may stabilize soil microbial communities under similar environmental conditions.
Although highly significant differences ( p < 0.001) were only detected between both collections in the province of Chimborazo (0.383 for Collection B; 0.158 for Collection A).
