A full factorial ANCOVA of the residuals revealed a highly significant three-way interaction term between predator group, square of relative initial prey density and the predator-prey body mass ratio (F 7,344 = 26.41, p<0.001, r 2 = 0.35).

Results VTX-2337 induces NLRP3 inflammasome activation and production of IL-1β and IL-18 by THP-1 cells and PBMC Treatment of THP-1 cells with VTX-2337 induced a highly significant (p<0.001, unpaired t test), concentration-dependent increase in IL-1β and IL-18 mRNA, consistent with TLR-mediated activation of NF-ĸB ( Fig 2A and 2B ).
The standardized regression coefficients for all paths were highly significant (p < 0.001) .
The risk-adjusted multivariate Poisson regression model also indicated that patients' preferred location was a highly significant predictor for family global satisfaction (p = 0.001; Table 3 ).
All pairwise F ST values of genetic differentiation were highly significant ( p < 0.001), and showed that the offspring were differentiated from the cultivated roadside trees (0.062 and 0.059, respectively; Table 2 ), but not from the native adults (0.004 and 0.005, respectively; Table 2 ).
In agreement with this, we found a highly significant correlation between courtship display across years (2006 and 2007) (r = 0.76, p<0.001) for the 15 sires used here.
Here, we measured the ratio between CRP and platelet counts (vii); a highly significant negative association with survival was found starting at day 10 (r s = −.65, p≤0.001), more so than CRP values alone; a statistically significant difference between 14 day CRP levels in surviving versus non-surviving animals was confirmed in the current study (p<0.05).
The effect of RWI two years prior (RWI_Lag2) was most important in 2002 ( t = 5.09; P < 0.001, but was also highly significant in 2003 ( t = 3.59; P < 0.001), two years after the drought event.
The treatment effect was highly significant for the 0.25% UC781 in vivo treated biopsies exposed ex vivo to 10 4 TCID 50 virus ( p<0.001 ).
Benthic-pelagic Coupling: Effects on Nematode Community Structure There was a highly significant and strong reduction in core surface area from the GB region to the eastern Mediterranean (Spearman rank, r = -0.74, P<0.001).
A highly significant correlation was observed between the manipulability ratings provided by the BOSS and the action index obtained in the present experiment, Pearon's r = 0.71, p<.001.
The results were considered significant when p (degree of significance) is less than 0.05, very significant when p < 0.01 and highly significant when p < 0.001.
Results were interpreted as highly significant*** (p<0.001), significant** (p<0.01), weakly significant* (p<0.05) or not significant ns (p>0.05).
A highly significant extreme overall genetic differentiation was found among samples ( F ST = 0.716; p<0.001).
The difference between the areas under the curves of the WT and Hvcn1 -/- cells was highly significant (p<0.001).
Pasture type had a highly significant effect on live-weight gain (s.e.d. = 0.08 kg d −1 ; P <0.001), which was just over 1 kg d −1 when grazing the lowland ryegrass sward, but less than 0.35 kg d −1 when grazing the hill sward ( Fig. 1 ).
All correlations were positive and highly significant (p < 0.001).
In agreement with the results obtained in our cell line models, MIG-6 expression showed a highly significant increase in PTC samples harboring the BRAF V600E mutation as compared to the cases with BRAF WT (P < 0.001; Fig 5A ).
For patient 28 the difference between the means for the 2 sides was highly significant (p<0.001 on Grubb’s test, and outside the outer fence on Tukey’s test), indicating that this patient was an outlier from the other patients in terms of side variation.
the amounts of variation explained by these variables while keeping other variables constant) on bacterial community variation were highly significant ( Fig. 4 ; P <0.001 with 1000 Monte Carlo permutations), even if coarse environmental descriptors were used in the study.
Greater consideration in our discussion was placed on highly significant terms (p < 0.001) due to the tendency of GAMMs to overfit, and p values > 0.001 should be treated as ambiguous as recommended in [ 45 ] and [ 55 ].
As result, the test was highly significant for both the 10S pattern, χ 2 (24) = 185, p < 0.001, and the 10M pattern, χ 2 (24) = 145, p < 0.001, indicating that they were probably not produced by a homogeneous Poisson process.
1 ) was highly significant (n = 204, r 2 = 0.951, p<0.001), the pattern and strength of relationship persisting when we controlled for phylogeny using two other family arrangements (99<n<134, 0.790< r 2 < 0.906, 493.46<F<969.27, p<0.001; Table S2).
Comparison of the incidence of invasive diseases in children less than 7 years old in the study region between the prevaccination -conjugate vaccine- period (1997–1999) and the postvaccination period (2001–2008), revealed a highly significant reduction, due to a marked decrease in serogroup C cases (incidence rate 11.1 vs. 2.0 cases×100,000 inhabitants, respectively; P<0.001).
The increases were highly significant (all t-test p-values <0.001, see Table B in S1 File for detailed measurements).
