The G+C content of putative introns ( Table 5 ) shows a highly significant (p = 3.3E −64 ) difference to that of exonic regions in accord with the general pattern in plants (higher GC in coding regions) and consistent with a parallel analysis of retained introns identified from genomic annotation in the A. thaliana data.

Genes involved in the Fgf/Mapk pathway are up-regulated by Fgf4 overexpression and Cic knockdown Using the stated selection criteria, 122 genes are significantly up-regulated by Fgf4 overexpression and 457 by Cic knockdown ( S1 Table ; Fig 3A , 3B , 3D and 3E ), with a highly significant (p<3.9e-63) overlap of 65 genes up-regulated in both conditions ( Fig 3B , S4 Table ).
The improvement was highly significant for both data types (MU: p < 10 −57 , SU: p < 10 −32 ; Wilcoxon signed-rank tests), and significantly higher for the MU sample ( p < 10 −25 ; Wilcoxon rank-sum test).

We found the correlation of similarity within days and across days to be high (ρ = 0.75) and highly significant (P<10 −50 ).
Under an additive model [ 48 ], a nominally significant positive association with FG was observed: per increment of additional G allele at rs560887 in G6PC2 , FG was 0.070 mmol/l (95% CI: 0.060, 0.079, p = 4.635e-50) higher, with heterogeneity observed (I 2 = 72%, 95% CI: 60%, 80%; H 2 = 2.56).
The t- tests were found to be highly significant (p-value < 10 −48 ) when compared to the BNA causal nets based models, suggesting significant difference in the observed performances of the models raised during these tests when compared with the actual BNA based models.
Comparison of the co-expression profile of CHRNA5 expression across 59 CCLE breast cancer cell lines with the logFC values from CHRNA5 RNAi profile revealed a highly significant negative correlation and association (r = -0.33, p = 3.8E-48).

This finding was highly significant (p = 4.5×10 −43 ).
The top TB network was highly significant (p = 10 −42 ) and included 20 focus genes implicated in susceptibility to Mycobacteria tuberculosis infection in a 35 gene network ( Table 1 , Fig 4 ).
A t-test comparison at TSS for the random sample and the origin peaks demonstrated a highly significant difference (p<10 −41 , Fig.
In Family A, SNPs on chr-4 at physical locations 62,076,809 bp and 62,076,876 bp exhibited the strongest association; additional highly significant SNPs (−log 10 p >40) clustered between 60,613,763 bp and the end of chr-4.

Interestingly, in a joint model where both rs970740 and rs6025 were used as covariates for predicting cg16548605 variability, the effect of rs970740 was highly significant (p = 1.05×10 −38 ) but that of rs6025 was not (p = 0.90).
Another study [ 8 ] reported that infection rates are higher in metropolitan cities with large population density in India as they found a fair and highly significant correlation ( r = 0.49, p-value ~ 10 −37 ) at the 5% level of significance.
We find a highly significant difference between these two means [t-test: t (478) = −13.618, p = 1.51×10 −36 ], indicating that, on average, observers are able to estimate admixture levels from photographs better than chance.
rs13038305 in relation to plasma cystatin C and creatinine based measures of GFR In the MDC-CC, each copy of the major allele of rs13038305 was associated with a highly significant (P<1 x 10 −35 ) approximately one third of a SD increase of plasma concentration of cystatin C both in model 1 and model 2.
