Associations of biomarkers with all-cause mortality in X69 Highly significant associations for 10 of the evaluated biomarkers (all except bilirubin) with all-cause mortality were observed in X69 ( P <0.0001; Fig 3 and Table 2 ) when they were evaluated one by one adjusting for classical risk factors (age, sex, glucose, systolic blood pressure, BMI, total cholesterol and smoking).
Excerpts
There is no consensus on how p-values should be estimated for linear mixed models, but following the t-statistics obtained from using the Satterthwaite’s method, the effect of the participant’s role (whether proposer or recipient) was highly significant (p < 0.0001) whereas the effect of the depression diagnosis and the role:depression interaction were not.
The occurrence of each of these features is highly significant (P<0.0001, Fisher’s exact test, two tailed) for none of these features was observed in the 351 non duplication mice generated in the cross.
Statistical analysis of the data performed in the three groups confirmed the presence of a decreasing trend over time in this difference in the CF group (p<0.0001) and the increasing trend in the non-CF (p<0.0001) and in the HTZ (p = 0.04) groups.
The effect is highly significant (p<0.0001) for all hemispheres.
On the other hand, the differences were highly significant (P<0.0001) in 2 of the 3 markers and the three different proliferation biomarkers all point into the same direction.
The changes in ExitLOS and HistLOS are highly significant (P < 0.0001) but in opposite directions.
This co-infection was highly significant, despite the co-clustering of M. mitochondrii genotype A in OTU Midichloria 1 with genotype B ( p <0.0001) ( Figure 3 ).
Adding calcium was associated with a highly significant reduction in SLS prevalence from about 60% without supplemented calcium to 15% in high and medium calcium-supplemented treatments (P < 0.0001, Fig 2 , Table 1 ).
In the case of the non-sensitive membrane proteins, the motif was found only in 5 out of 143 sequences demonstrating a highly significant correlation between the presence of the motif in an SAS and its cotransin sensitivity (p value < 0.0001 according to Fisher ́s exact test) [ 21 ].
Construct validity of the 31-item Likert scale was supported by an overall Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure of sampling adequacy (MSA) value of 0.853 (range 0.766 to 0.902), along with a highly significant Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity (P < 0.0001), indicating that the data were suitable for factor analysis ( Table 3 ).
Response surface equations for peak sound pressure level (SPL peak) and effective sound pressure level (RMS) were constructed by a quadratic polynomial regression model with linear, interaction and quadratic terms, which was verified by analysis of variance (ANOVA) to be highly significant (p < 0.0001), as shown in equations (15) and (16) .
This difference was highly significant using a paired t-test with data points paired by year (P<0.0001, df = 11).
The one-way ANOVA conducted for testing significance of the mean iH O among the six populations investigated was highly significant: F 5,172 = 31.92, p < 0.0001).
ANOVAs revealed a highly significant variation among these groups in both these traits (F 3, 109 = 38.4, P < 0.0001 and F 3, 107 = 28.9, P < 0.0001, respectively).
All among-gyre pairwise F ST values based on mtCOII were highly significant, irrespective of sampling year ( P < 0.0001; S3 Table ), with values ranging up to 0.407.
The Pairwise G-tests showed that genetic differentiation was highly significant between the sorghum populations of the three groups, being highest between the Chuka and both the Tharaka (p-value < 0.0001) and Mbeere (p-value = 0.0002) populations and lowest between the Tharaka and Mbeere populations (p-value = 0.0083).
We observed a highly significant correlation between genetic (Fst) and geographical distances (Mantel’s test, P-value < 0.0001, S3 Fig ) between populations (sites) of B. tabaci SSA1 SG1 U SG2 (this Mantel test was not performed on B. tabaci SG3 or SSA2 ∪ SSA3 due to low sample sizes).
The variance of repeated measurements in all models is statistically highly significant (Wald Z > 4.4, p < .0001), indicating that the variation resulting from multiple measurements of the same city using different methods and indicators constitutes the primary component that the model needs to explain.
Pair-wise permutation tests comparing predicted species richness between the entire small mammal assemblage, native species forest assemblage, and forest-specialist assemblage for the Atlantic Forest of Paraguay were highly significant ( P < 0.0001; Fig 2 ).
This difference was highly significant, t(70.14) = 4.04, p = .0001 (degrees of freedom using Satterthwaite’s correction for unequal variance).
This was highly significant ( p <0.0001).
Consistent with the PCoA plots, clustering by reactors was highly significant (R = 0.65, p<0.0001).
Of the four SNPs with significant or borderline significant IL-2 associations in the whole blood assay, only rs10507173 was associated with CD4+ IL-2 production ( p <0.0001, general linearized model), though the association was driven by a single minor allele homozygote outlier (2H) and was not significant under a dominant model ( p = 0.95).
State v.11 Fisher’s exact test confirmed a significant association between geminin and nuclear c-Abl ( p-value = 0.0006, Table S1 ), and spearman correlation coefficient test also confirmed the highly significant correlation between expression of geminin and nuclear c-Abl with r = 0.5432 ( p = 0.0001).
