No-cook oats soaked overnight in the fridge — creamy, ready to grab in the morning, and endlessly customizable.
by Culicious Kitchen
Ingredients
- 50 g rolled oats
- 120 ml milk
- 60 g yogurt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- fruit and nuts
Method
- 1
In a jar or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds (if using), and honey.
- 2
Stir well, making sure all the oats are submerged in the liquid.
- 3
Seal and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours). The oats and chia absorb the liquid and soften into a creamy, spoonable porridge.
- 4
In the morning, give it a stir. If it's too thick, loosen with a splash more milk.
- 5
Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or a swirl of nut butter, and eat cold straight from the jar. Keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days.
