Loaded Nachos
A sharing platter of crispy chips smothered in melted cheese and toppings. Layering is the secret so every chip gets cheese.

Ingredients
- 200 g tortilla chips
- 200 g cheese
- 400 g canned refried or black beans
- 1 jalapeño
- 1 tomato
- 2 green onions
- guacamole, salsa, sour cream
Method
- 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F. Line a baking tray with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.
- 2
If using black beans, drain and rinse them; if refried, warm them slightly so they spread.
- 3
Spread HALF the tortilla chips in a single layer on the tray. Dot with half the beans, then scatter half the cheese. Layering in two stages means no bare chips at the bottom.
- 4
Add the rest of the chips, beans, and cheese on top, then scatter over the jalapeño slices.
- 5
Bake until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling, 8-12 minutes. Watch closely near the end so the edges don't burn.
