Ingredients
- 300 g rolled oats
- 100 g mixed nuts
- 50 g seeds
- 80 ml honey or maple syrup
- 60 ml vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 80 g dried fruit
Method
- 1
Preheat the oven to 150°C/300°F and line a large baking tray with parchment. Low heat is key — it toasts the granola evenly without burning the honey.
- 2
In a large bowl, mix the oats, chopped nuts, seeds, and salt.
- 3
In a small bowl or jug, stir together the honey, oil, and vanilla, then pour over the oats. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly coated and glistening.
- 4
Spread the mixture in an even layer on the tray and press it down firmly with a spatula — pressing helps it form crunchy clusters.
- 5
Cook it your way
Save it to scale servings, run step timers, and send the ingredients to a shopping list that skips what is already in your pantry.
