Ingredients
- 1 romaine lettuce
- 2 cooked chicken breasts
- 4 slices of bacon
- 3 eggs
- 1 avocado
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 80 g blue cheese
- 4 tbsp ranch or vinaigrette dressing
Method
- 1
Hard-boil the eggs: lower into boiling water, cook 9 minutes, then cool in cold water and peel. Quarter them.
- 2
Cook the bacon in a dry pan until crisp, then drain and crumble. If your chicken isn't already cooked, season and pan-fry it now, then slice.
- 3
Spread the chopped romaine over a large platter or shallow bowl as the base.
- 4
Arrange the toppings in neat rows or sections on top of the lettuce: sliced chicken, crumbled bacon, quartered eggs, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and blue cheese. The rows are what make it a Cobb.

Cook it your way
Save it to scale servings, run step timers, and send the ingredients to a shopping list that skips what is already in your pantry.
